This is the brand that I designed for the West Perth Youth Centre located in Mitchell, Ontario, Canada. Initially, I was just asked to design the sign that hangs out in front of the youth centre, but I thought I'd do them one better and develop a full brand for them instead.

The main idea behind the youth centre is to provide a safe and fun environment for kids to hang out after school with a staff that the kids and community can trust to help get them, or keep them, on the right track. Statistics show that after school programs like the West Perth Youth Centre can do just that.

My goal with developing this brand was to look fun, inviting and safe. I also wanted to create a brand that could be used for a long time without looking outdated in a few years without being boring at the same time. My solution was to use a bold and classic color scheme (red, black and white) and a strong sans serif font. I also kept to pretty simple geometric shapes for the most part to keep with the bold but simple feel.

Overall, both the client and I are very satisfied with the result of the rebranding.
